“Come try it…. I think you’ll like it. You may learn something new!”
Do those words sound familiar? I have used them countless times as I went room to room to invite folks to the activity that was being planned and soon to be happening. The activity may have been something we did often, or it could have been something unique and new to our facility and Activity program. My words were animated because I believed they WOULD like it. Something new!
So, let’s bring that a bit closer to home. To us. What have we tried new? When have we reached out to learn something different? When have we extended ourselves . . .
