Foundations for the Activity Professional Course

The delivery of activity programs and services for older adults requires the activity professional to have a comprehensive foundation of both knowledge and skills. This introductory course addresses the nationally accepted standards of practice and competencies for the novice activity director. The topics covered in the five units of this course introduce the new activity professional to the essential core knowledge of the profession. As part of the course, participants will assess their mastery of recognized activity professional competencies and develop learning goals for their continued growth.
This course is taught BY Activity Professionals FOR Activity Professionals.
The course will run 4 weeks on Thursday evenings starting January 26, 2023.
Cost: $150. Payment by credit card.
