How to Keep Sub-Acute Guests Entertained

The average schedule of a patient staying in sub-acute is often extremely exhausting. Between rehab/physical therapy exercises, many patients may feel overwhelmed and prefer staying in their rooms instead of using their spare time to join activities. Others may not feel comfortable joining in group programs with LTC residents. Every once and a while we luck out and have guests who want to join in on the fun. But what about those that don’t? How can we incorporate stimulating activities for them to enjoy during their brief stays . . .
