NAAP Award Nominations
Due to the Cancellation of the 2021 NAAP Conference, Awards will be postponed until 2022 when we can meet again in Minneapolis for our Conference and Awards Banquet.
Only online submissions will be accepted.
The National Association of Activity Professionals recognizes those very special individuals who have made a positive difference in the lives of those they serve.
These will be given in 2022 and we will announce the due dates for these at a later date.
The following awards to consider:
- Activity Professional of the Year
- Rising Star Award
- Quality of Excellence Award
- Volunteer of the Year
Activity Professional of the Year is presented to an Activity Professional who is a NAAP Member and has made outstanding contributions to the field of activities, exemplifying dedication and service.
Quality of Excellence Award is presented to a caregiver in a healthcare community who goes “above and beyond”caring for the whole person, recognizing the importance of meaningful activities and Quality of Life. The nomination must originate from a community that employs at least one NAAP member. Team members that deserve consideration for this award include: Administrator, Environmental Services, Dining Services, Pastoral Care, Social Services, Nursing, and Maintenance.
Rising Star Award (2 years or less in the field) is presented to an Activity Professional who has made outstanding contributions to the field of activities. This person has demonstrated outstanding skills within his/her position and provided Quality of Care to the residents/clients. Must be nominated by a community that employs at least one NAAP member.
Volunteer of the Year is presented to a Volunteer or Junior Volunteer who has demonstrated commitment and uniqueness of service to volunteerism. All qualifying nominees will be honored via video and will receive a certificate of appreciation.
