Mission Statement – The NALTCV’s mission is to: 1) educate a volunteer workforce that makes a positive and measurable impact on the quality of care and quality of life of the nursing home resident, 2) coordinate with existing volunteer efforts that are serving in nursing homes, 3) spotlight the value of nursing home volunteers, 4) research the efficacy of volunteers to impact both the quality of care and quality of life of the people living and working in nursing homes.
The NALTCV provides the platform for training and monitoring various volunteer efforts in nursing homes, advocating for increased volunteer engagement in nursing homes and researching and reporting the efficacy of volunteers to impact nursing home operations.
