Testimonials
Judy from Virginia says: I never thought I would want to become an activities director for my career, but I fell in love with working with seniors. So, I took the leap by taking the MEPAP 1 and 2 courses with Julie at Ridgewater College, and it was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I have learned so much through the class, and I look forward to taking everything I have learned from the classes to advance as an activity professional.
Antoinette from Maryland says: I was privileged to complete both MEPAP 1 and 2 via Ridgewater College’s online program under the tutelage of Julie Reginek. For those new to the Activities/Recreation profession, Julie opens their eyes to a whole new world. However, for those entrenched in the profession, she provides a plethora of new ideas to enliven, and update tried and true activities. The program brings the courses to life with industry professionals led webinars, well thought-out course materials, links to industry journals and associations, and Julie’s genuine care for each student. Throughout the courses, I felt that Julie truly wanted us to succeed, and was always available for questions, concerns, and fears. I highly recommend this course of study at Ridgewater College.
Mandolin from Minnesota says: Although an online student at Ridgewater, upon enrollment I immediately felt looped into the campus community and what was going on through school updates and emails. My experience with MEPAP classes were engaging and easily manageable around full-time work. Julie was always available for questions and help through email and ZOOM. This assisted in making me feel prepared and equipped as an activity professional, and even more so, an active part of the activity profession worldwide. The resources given, taught, and learned in this course are invaluable for someone passionate about growing in the field of life enrichment and activities. Do not miss the opportunity to learn from one of the best and most knowledgeable instructors in the field!
