Many people incorrectly believe that once a person enters a skilled nursing community, that person’s freedom is all over. That is simply not the case. Nursing home residents have many rights, and it is imperative for Activity Professionals to know these rights and help other team members provide whatever services are necessary for residents to function at their highest level possible.
